Sensex strong in opening trades

The Sensex started the day on a very strong note mirroring international cues and on expectation of a good earning season. The Sensex is now at 17,660, up 120 points. HDFC, Reliance Communications and Maruti have declined 1.5% each to Rs 2,600, Rs 181 and Rs 1,433, respectively.
