1320 Mw TTPS expansion by 2010

RFQ applications for metro rail to be sold from July 24

HMRL issued a notification inviting RFQ on July 16 after Andhra Pradesh government cancelled the earlier contract awarded to Maytas consortium for failing to achieve financial closure despite a three-month extension. The bidding process for the 71-km rail route would be completed by November 15.An addendum to the notification, issued on Tuesday, said that a copy of RFQ would be posted on the website on July 24. There is no change in the last date for submission of RFQ (September 7). The indicative price of the project, which would be taken up in a PPP model, is Rs 12,132 crore and is proposed to be executed on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis.
