Public CompanyN Ram to receive Lokmanya Tilak Journalist award
N Ram has been chosen for this year"s prestigious Lokmanya Tilak National Journalist award.

The award is conferred for excellence in Journalism on a personality making important contribution to the field of Journalism at national level, Deepak Tilak, great grandson of Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak and trustee editor of the daily Kesari said in a statement.
Vir Sanghvi of "Hindustan Times" was the recipient of the Tilak award in 2009.
The award will be conferred on N Ram, Editor-in-Chief of the "Hindu" on January 4, coinciding with the 129th Foundation Day of "Kesari", started by Lokmanya Tilak, one of the leading lights of struggle for independence.
