JSW Steel zooms on robust growth in steel prod

The stock opened at Rs 1,031 and zoomed to a high of Rs 1,090. The scrip is now trading at Rs 1,087, up 6% from its previous close. The counter has clocked volumes of 4.11 lakh shares as compared to the two-week daily average traded volumes of 2.59 shares on the BSE. The production has increased from 7.82 lakh tonnes in Q3 FY 08-09 to 14.69 lakh tonnes in FY 09-10.
