Apollo Hospitals Q3 net up 48% at Rs 44 cr

Apollo Hospitals today reported a 48.6 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 43.91 crore for the quarter ended on December 31, 2009, as compared to the similar period last fiscal. - J&K Bank Q3 net up 16% to Rs 140 cr - Cairn India Q3 net up 23% to Rs 291 cr - BPCL Q3 profit declines 52% to Rs 379 cr - Central Bank Q3 dips 13% to Rs 306 cr - Bank of India Q3 net dips 53% to Rs 405 cr - Marico Q3 net up 22% at Rs 62 cr The company had reported a net profit of Rs 33.55 crore in the quarter ended on December 31, 2009, the company said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). During the third quarter of the current fiscal, Apollo Hospitals" total income grew by 28 per cent to Rs 480.87 crore as compared to Rs 373 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, the filing said. The company"s healthcare business in the quarter under consideration has contributed around Rs 348.15 crore, a growth of 21 per cent as compared to Rs 287.50 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal. Apollo"s Pharmacy business reported a sale of Rs 132.86 crore, while in the comparable period it has reported a sale of Rs 85.54 crore.
